the process

  • STEP 1: let's talk

The first step, as with any project, is talking about it! I want to know how many rooms you want to update, your budget, why you want to make this change, about your family members, if you have pets, what your style is. I want to gather as much information as possible to help me figure out if we’re the right fit. This is also where YOU get to ask questions! Ask me anything you want about the process, or me if you’re really that interested. This step is all about gathering information.

  • Step 2: onboarding

If we’ve made it to this step it means that you’ve signed your scope and you’re officially my client! This step is where we exchange documents and ideas. I’ll send you my “What to Expect” packet, and I’ll ask that you send me any inspiration images, contact information, and photos of any items you wish to keep and use in the new design. I will come to your home and take measurements to create a space plan and any renderings if needed.

  • Step 3: design time

Now that everyone has all the information necessary, we get to work! I will start sourcing furnishings, lighting, and any other items needed to complete your space. I will gather fabric and finish samples to create a presentation complete with mood boards and renderings if necessary. Everything in this presentation will be based on what you’ve told me and unique to you and your project. From here, you will have two opportunities to make major changes, or revisions, Once everything is agreed upon and selected, we move on to our last step!

  • Step 4: procurement + implementation

We made it! Your hard work is over and now we start to see the fruits of our labor. I will begin placing orders for the items we’ve selected. These items will be shipped to a receiving warehouse who will inspect, store and delivery the items. Ideally, we are able to wait until all items are in so that we only have to schedule one install day. Once scheduled, I will be on site for delivery day managing the delivery crew and making sure everything is in its place. After all furniture and items are in, it’s time for accessories and final touches! My job is not done until you’re ecstatic with your new space.
